Have you ever been in someone’s home without them there and been able to piece together a personality from their belongings? I collaborate with my family and friends and photograph their objects within their homes. The resulting triptychs, composed of objects chosen from a multitude of their possessions, construct a portrait of each individual. Through my desire to understand why we keep certain belongings I interview my subjects to obtain the stories behind their objects. The banality of their objects is then challenged by these personal stories.
